No. The questionnaire asks plain-language questions about your business: your state, number of employees, type of operations. We handle the regulatory research and document formatting.

We generate OSHA Safety Plans, Employee Handbooks, Food Safety Plans (HACCP), Emergency Action Plans, Training Records, Incident Reports, Inspection Prep Checklists, and Chemical Hazard Plans. Available document types vary by industry, and all are included on every plan.

OSHA, FDA, and state rules require the employer to maintain these written plans — no lawyer signature is required. ComplyKing drafts them around the applicable regulations with citations. You review and approve the final document; for advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney.

Our documents cover federal requirements (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA) for every US business. Where we have a detailed state overlay, we check federal requirements against your state's regulations so nothing gets missed. Select your state during the questionnaire and we handle the rest.

Federal requirements are covered in all 50 states. We currently have detailed state-specific overlays for California (CA), New York (NY), Texas (TX), Florida (FL), and Illinois (IL), with more states added monthly. Outside those five, your document is built on the federal baseline and flags exactly what to verify locally.

Yes. All plans include unlimited manual edits (your changes to the document text, not regenerations). Documents are available as PDFs on all plans, and as Word files on Professional and above. Add your logo, adjust wording, or make whatever changes you need.

Each requirement in your document cites the specific OSHA, FDA, HIPAA, or state code it comes from, so you and your inspector can check every source directly. You review and approve the final document before you use it.

We monitor OSHA, FDA, HIPAA, and state agencies for regulatory updates. When a change affects your documents, we notify you and you can regenerate with one click. Professional and Business plan subscribers also get a compliance calendar that tracks upcoming deadlines.

Yes. Each document can be regenerated up to 3 times. Regeneration is useful when your business operations change or when regulations are updated. Editing an existing document does not count as a regeneration.

No. Your first document is free — no credit card required. You get the same regulation-cited document that paying subscribers get.

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

If you haven't generated any paid documents, contact us within 14 days of your first purchase for a full refund. Otherwise you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period. Try the free document first to see if ComplyKing works for you.

Your documents are never deleted. If you cancel, you retain access to all generated documents until the end of your billing period. After that, your account moves to a read-only state where you can still view and download your existing documents.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe. All payments are processed securely and your card information never touches our servers.

All data is stored in a secure cloud database hosted in the United States, encrypted at rest and in transit. Database-level access controls ensure every record is only accessible to its owner, and we follow security best practices including input validation and strict access controls.

Only you can access your documents. Database-level access controls ensure that every query only returns data belonging to the authenticated user. Our admin tools have separate access controls and audit logging.

No. We do not sell or share your information. The business details you enter in the questionnaire are only used to generate your documents. Our AI service providers are prohibited from training on customer data. See our privacy policy for details.

Yes. We comply with the CCPA for California residents and honor the same rights for residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws. We also follow GDPR principles: lawful bases for processing are documented in our Privacy Policy, data subject rights are honored (access, rectification, erasure, portability), and we have data processing agreements with our providers and delete data on request.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your credit card information is never stored on or transmitted through our servers. We only store your Stripe customer ID for subscription management.
